Advanced RTT Therapist
& Family Trauma Specialist.
I didn't always have this business or the energy required to run it. Before my own transformational healing journey which resulted in this wildly successful private practice, my life looked very, very different.
I was raised in an incredibly dysfunctional and abusive family and I mistakenly believed that geographical and emotional isolation ie, growing up, moving away and cutting ties would mean an end to my suffering. And it did ... for a short time.
Then the mysterious, rare and chronic illnesses showed up with a vengeance.
Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS)
Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis (LCH),
Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS),
Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), and
Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS).
These illnesses along with their co-morbid conditions resulted in a life totally dominated by pain and suffering.
I constantly felt that my body was either failing me or betraying me and it was definitely holding me back from achieving my dreams.
A diagnosis of Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (C-PTSD) was the final straw.
I'd already been in therapy for years, with no end in sight and no resolution or improvement. In fact, I often came out of my sessions feeling more depressed, hopeless and helpless than before.
I knew that I couldn't continue merely surviving.
I wanted to live fully, energetically and enthusiastically. I wanted to be a part of the fun not simply watching from the sidelines or from my bed.
That's why I set out on a mission to find the answers for myself. I knew that it simply had to be possible and it was.
After discovering the connection between childhood trauma and adult onset illness I sought an effective treatment modality, and after scouring the globe, I found it.
Having experienced extraordinary results in my own healing journey, I was excited to delve into this modality and am proudly one of the very first Australians to train in Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) and Clinical Hypnotherapy with my mentor Marisa Peer, in London.
You might even recognise me from the RTT Masterclasses that I taught for Marisa Peer on PTSD.
You might have noticed I've been MIA for a while and that I look a little different.
The universe gave me another opportunity to practice what I preach and this time it was in the form of a rare type of bowel cancer.
I can now add a neuroendocrine tumour to the list of challenges that I have overcome without chemotherapy or radiation.
Going through this latest challenge simply solidified my passion for empowering others to heal themselves. To know that not only is self healing possible but that it's possible for YOU.
Seriously, just think of me as your own personal cheerleader, giving you the strategies and techniques to succeed, then believing in you and celebrating with you as you do the work and change your life.
If I can be that voice in your ear that whispers: “you really can do this” while the rest of the world is challenging you… then I’ll consider my job done.
This latest challenge has also inspired me to share more of my own experiences, as well as those of others, on my new podcast - Real & Raw & Messy. Be sure to check it out for tales of transformation.
I just wanted to thank you for the most life changing therapy that I have ever experienced.
With your skill, dedication and expertise I was able to uncover suppressed memories that were impacting deeply on my life and health in debilitating ways.
You have such a depth of compassion ans such an understanding and non-judgemental way.
The level of support and the professional, yet so deeply considerate therapy you offer is indeed life transforming.
Thank you so much for helping me to release deep pain and to regain my hope!

What I most enjoyed about working with Ruby was seeing the clear reduction in my pain scores after each session.
Having that tangible result.
I now have a 4 day period with a teensy bit of cramping, certainly not the intense pain I was in 4 months ago.
I know it was bad because my records show 7/10 pain levels but I can't even remember what that was like because not being in pain has become normal.

I decided to work with Ruby because I was hurting, emotionally and physically, and because I understood that she has a special handle on matters related to PTSD. Working with Ruby helped me shed some emotional crutches which have had me by the scruff of my emotional neck.
Using RTT is an art form, in my opinion. It demands a lot from the therapist. Since I am studying it myself, I know that it is no great effort to hypnotise people back to scenes which have left a very deep emotional imprint on a persons life, the art of this method is being experienced and wise enough to guide the client out of the emotional attachment to that imprint.
Ruby did this absolutely wonderfully with me. Based on my experience as both a student and a client also with other therapists, I’d rank Ruby as very, very good indeed.
